Happy Turkey or Tofurky Leftover Week!
Speaking of gobbling, I'd like to offer you all an invitation to review copies of books that have been sent to my office by various publishers. If any of you bookit! bloggers would like to read these recently published children or young adult titles you are more than welcome too. Perhaps you would like to consider any of these titles for your collection. For review we have five (5) titles from Sterling Publishing:
Elza Pilgrim's CHINA DOLL illustrated by Carmen Segovia
Burton P. Brodt's FOUR LITTLE OLD MEN illustrated by Luc Melanson
Mark Shulman's LOUIS & THE DODO illustrated by Vincent Nguyen
------ AA is FOR AARDVARK ilustrated by Tamara Petrosino
However, I do have several titles to give away immediately--on one condition. That in exchange for every three free titles you collect, you at least offer a favorite author, book, craft or book reading experience/technique that you think bookit! members would enjoy. *-) Now with that stipulation said, I've got several titles--eleven to be exact--to give away this week. Are they any takers for:
Berenstain Bear's SISTER BEARS LEARNS TO SHARE
BROTHER BEAR LOVES DINOSAURS
Susan Zannos' MICHAEL FARADAY AND THE DISCOVERY OF ELECTROMAGNETISM
(Uncharted, Unexplored, and Unexplained)
Kevin Telles Roberts' MUNCHIES: COOK WHAT YOU WANT, EAT WHAT YOU LIKE. FINALLY, A COOKBOOK EVEN YOU CAN USE.
J. Craig & Barbara Robertson THE KID'S BUILDING WORKSHOP: 15 WOODWORKING PROJECTS FOR KIDS AND PARENTS TO BUILD TOGETHER
Steve Parker's HEAT & ENERGY (Science View)
Kate Petty's ANIMAL MOVEMENT (Nature Files)
Anita Ganeri's ANIMAL HOMES (Nature Files)
Dalmatian Press LITTLE BUILDER BOARD SET BOOK
------ WHAT DO YOU SEE?
------ WHERE DO YOU LIVE?
So, if anyone would like to add any of these books to their collection, you are welcome to send in your bookit! ideas, i.e. craft, storytelling or booktalking title(s) to receive a free book.
